Cheri earned her BFA with honors from the Columbus College of Art & Design and has been a professional silk painter for over 30 years. Her award-winning artwork has been exhibited at the New Mexico Museum of Art and the Center for Contemporary Art in Santa Fe and the "Mountain Oyster Club Contemporary Western Art Show" in Tucson. Her overseas shows include Tokyo, Japan and the "World of Wearable Art" in New Zealand. Cheri is a signature member of Silk Painters International with "Master Silk Painter" designation. She has been featured in Fiberarts magazine, Fiberarts Design Book and numerous other publications.  Cheri creates from her Sonoran Desert studio in the San Tan Mountains of Arizona which she shares with sculptor Michael Ceschiat and their furry family.
